Since 2007 we have been blessed through a mentoring relationship with Immanuel's
Church in Silver Spring, Maryland in the U.S.A. The founding pastors Charles &
Dotty Schmitt have a heart and passion for the nation of Pakistan; they embrace
the missional heart - and that is “to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known!
Scripture shows many instances of mentoring. Some trained ‘one on one,’ others coached
several at once. Jesus sometimes mentored twelve, other times three or even one.
In Scripture, mentoring resulted in generational ‘chains’ with several ‘links’ of
mentors whose apprentices mentored others, and so on.
In the preparation of a leader God sovereignly uses events, people, and significant
circumstances. Our story at HUJJI Ministries reveals a number of highly significant
'divine contacts', people who have been influential in the impartation of values,
perspectives and opening doors. We are honoured to include pastors Charles &
Dotty Schmitt in this list.
At HUJJI Ministries, we have limited resources and cannot complete the task alone.
But our gracious and mighty God has not left us alone. We thank God for how Immanuel's
Church strengthens our hand in ministry, going beyond what we could do ourselves.
Our connection with Immanuel's Church has empowered our mission at HUJJI Ministries
International through the provision of resources, training and mentorship.
Our continued cooperation with Immanuel's Church is assisting our team at HUJJI
Ministries to be more effective in evangelism and Church planting and is also benefiting
our congregations and local communities.
I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for
you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from
the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in
